World Tennis League: Show fight tournament in Dubai starts with a strong field of participants
The first edition of the World Tennis League will be played from Monday, December 19th until Christmas Eve. Among others, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev will be there.

December, which is used by professionals to relax and prepare for the coming season, is enriched with a wide variety of exhibition tournaments, the number of which has increased significantly over the past few years. The latest addition is the "World Tennis League" show fight series in sunny Dubai, which boasts an impressive field of participants. Here you will find all secured information about the previously unused format.
From when to when does the tournament run?
The World Tennis League starts on Monday, December 19th with the group stage and ends with the final on December 24th.
Where is the event taking place?
The venue for the World Tennis League 2022 is the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
How does the tournament format work?
In advance, 18 players were drawn into four teams with the ornithological names Falcons, Eagles, Kites and Hawks. Each of these teams meets all other teams in the group stage. Each clash consists of a men's singles, a women's singles and a mixed doubles match. The top two teams in the group stage will contest the final on Christmas Eve.
What scoring format is used in the games?
The game is played for two winning sets, with a decisive third round being played as a match tiebreak (up to 10).
How can you follow the matches?
