WTA Adelaide: Teen Linda Noskova shocks Daria Kasatkina
Linda Noskova, just 18 years old, caused a surprise at the start of the WTA Tour 500 event in Adelaide.

Daria Kasatkina was of course warned about Linda Noskova. After all, the 18-year-old Czech defeated two competent players, Anastasia Potapova and Anna Kalinskaya, in the qualifying competition for the WTA Tour 500 tournament in Adelaide. But Kasatkina was also number three in Adelaide, a clear favorite against Noskova. In the end, however, the outsider scored 6: 3, 6: 7 (2) and 6: 3.
In the light of the success against Kasatkina, the upcoming task doesn't seem impossible for Linda Noskova either: Because it's either against Claire Liu from the USA or the Australian Prsicilla Hon.
Another favorite in Adelaide showed no weaknesses on Monday: Veronika Kudermetova, seeded fourth, won 6-3 and 6-0 against Amanda Anismiova.
