It took Swiatek just over an hour to defeat Anett Kontaveit 6-2, 6-0. Swiatek thus celebrated her fourth tournament victory overall, the second in a WTA 1000 tournament.
The 20-year-old remains almost untouchable in finals: in the last four finals of her career she only gave up eleven games.
Swiatek beats three top 10 colleagues
Kontaveit was by no means an easy opponent: the Estonian only won in St. Petersburg two weeks ago; she has been extremely successful since late last year with tournament victories in Cleveland, Ostrava, Moscow and Cluj-Napoca.
In Doha, however, Siwatek showed an impressive performance: In addition to Kontaveit, she had beaten three top ten players in the tournament with Aryna Sabalenka and Maria Sakkari.
Swiatek surprisingly celebrated her first tournament success on the tour in Roland Garros in 2020.
