WTA: Friedsam beats Raducanu, Maria narrowly loses
Anna-Lena Friedsam achieved a great victory at the WTA tournament in Portoroz, Slovenia. The 28-year-old from Neuwied prevailed in the round of 16 against top seed Emma Raducanu, who won the US Open last year, 7: 5, 0: 6, 6: 3. In the next round, Friedsam meets Diane Parry (France).
