WTA Madrid: Sabalenka is marching - and is now playing against a 16-year-old
Aryna Sabalenka made it into the round of 16 of the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Madrid with minor problems. And now he has to deal with the only 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva .

Camilla Osorio fought back bravely against Aryna Sabalenka in the third round of the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Madrid. And in fact Sabalenka has celebrated much easier victories in the recent past. In the end, however, the scoreboard was 6:4 and 7:5 for the Belarusian, who made it into the round of 16.
Sabalenka is now given an interesting task there: Mirra Andreeva, the young Russian, continued her triumphal march against Magda Linette on her 16th birthday and won 6:3 and 6:3. Andreeva has not lost a match this year: in two ITF tournaments and now in qualification and the first three rounds in Madrid. Before the coup against Linette, Andreeva had already defeated Leylah Fernandez and Beatriz Haddad Maia.
The 2017 French Open winner, Jelena Ostapenko, was eliminated. The Latvian lost 6-2 and 6-0 against Liudmila Samsonova.
