Grabher prevailed against the Italian wildcard player Nuria Brancaccio 6:4, 3:6 and 6:3 and thus meets the 26th seeded Swiss player Jil Teichmann. She had a bye in round 1.
Grabher thus won the second match in a tournament in the 1000 category. She had already won her opening game at the preliminary tournament in Madrid. There Grabher slipped into the field as a lucky loser after missing qualification, in round 2 she lost to Iga Swiatek after a good performance.
