WTA Rome: Julia Grabher misses a surprise after a big fight
Julia Grabher (WTA No. 89) missed the round of 16 at the 1000 tournament in Rome.

Austria's best tennis player lost to world number nine Daria Kasatkina 5: 7, 6: 4 and 6: 7 (2) - and thus missed the first victory over a player from the top 10.
Nevertheless, Grabher has the best performance in a tournament in the 1000 category. And she confirmed her great year: she had already reached the second round in Madrid and the round of 16 in Charleston.
In the live ranking, Grabher is currently in 74th place - her highest world ranking so far.
